POSITION OVERVIEW:
MarketForward
Inc., a Publicis Groupe Company, seeks an experienced technical
operations manager who is enthusiastic, technical support-oriented,
has excellent trouble-shooting skills, and is able to function
well in fast-paced team environment. This role is responsible for
all MarketForward infrastructures, including internal office, Laboratory,
Product Development, Product Staging, Production, and client sites. The
successful candidate balances hands-on work with management of
direct and indirect resources to get the work done.
This position
reports directly to the EVP/General Manger.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for maintenance
and configuration of MarketForward Inc.’s internal infrastructure.
- Maintain LAN & WAN
connectivity for client sites, administrate network security
and maintain firewalls.
- Maintain high level
of efficiency in networking between MarketForward Inc.’s
Offices and Agency Partners.
- Function
as primary point of contact with outsourced IT service providers
and Publicis Groupe Central IT organization.
- Manage to
resolution all Tier 3 technical issues relating to network
performance and uptime of our product solutions.
- Support and configure servers in staging and development environments.
- Maintain
MarketForward Inc. Chicago’s infrastructure
of mixed configuration servers in development, staging, and production
environments.
- Maintain DSL, T1, Satellite, EVDO, ATM and other network interfaces
for digital signage and asset management products.
- Be the primary contact for server maintenance and web application
issues.
- Directly manage team of network engineers, outside contractors
and indirectly manage the Publicis Groupe Central IT organization
who manages our hosted production environment.
- Works in conjunction with Product Development team.
- Maintains
knowledge of emerging technologies applicable to client and
internal needs.
- Create technical documents for training and documentation purposes.
- Maintain
high level of multimedia / network integration to keep MarketForward
Inc.’s
competitive advantage.
- Build custom
computer operating systems and clone hard drives.
- Trouble shoot network and firewall issues as they arise.
REQUIREMENTS:

- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of five
years of experience in administering and supporting PC’s
in a networked Windows Domain Environment, Mac, UNIX. (other
platforms a plus)

Account Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW:
MaketForward
Inc., a Publicis Groupe Company, seeks a member for their Client
Services team to contribute to the managing, sale,
solution definition and deployment, and ongoing operations for
their two product suites BrandGuard and Siren. The position will
partner with Publicis Groupe agency teams and their clients and
brands along with direct clients outside of the Publicis Groupe.
This position
reports to the VP of Client Services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in the entire sales process from initial qualification
to solution demonstrations to scope development, pricing, proposal
creation and presentation, and close.
- Manages the definition of client needs into functional plans
and manages the deployment of solutions, including designing
the solution, defining enhancements, planning rollout and user
training.
- Coordinates the ongoing solution operation, including managing
issue resolution, billing and administration.
- Works closely with MarketForward product development, creative
studio, technical operations and executive management to deliver
solutions to clients
- Consistently expands understanding of agency automation technologies
and the best practices associated with digital asset management,
print production workflow and dynamic digital display advertising.
REQUIREMENTS:

- Candidate
must have strong client services background in an agency environment. Knowledge
of how marketing and advertising campaigns are produced and
the roles within the agency are important. International experience
is a strong plus.
- Must have
project management experience in a fast-paced, complex environment. Need

written functional documents and work plans.
- Experience with interactive marketing, digital asset management,
advertising automation or dynamic digital display technology,
or a strong interest in these technologies is important.
- Works autonomously while remaining accountable to the team

- BA/BS degree required, advanced degree would be a plus.

Development, Marketing Manager/Director
POSITION OVERVIEW:
MarketForward
Inc., a Publicis Groupe Company, seeks an experienced manager
or director of business development and marketing. This role
will define, lead and manage marketing, PR, partnerships and
direct sales activities.
Tis position
reports directly to the EVP/General Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Through
research and practical experience, determine the strategic
market position, including targeting clients based on size,
industry, organizational situation, etc. Define specific
MarketForward solutions that best serve each target market.
- Develop
go to market strategies for each target market/solution combination. Includes
both internal and external Publicis Groupe targets.
- Assist in the development of standard pricing models for MF
solutions and target markets, balancing profitability and market
tolerance.
- Create materials to support the marketing and selling efforts,
including product sheets, brochures, client case studies, presentations,
proposal standards, and web site content.
- Define and execute market development activities, including
trade shows participation, speaking and publishing opportunities,
analyst white papers participation, etc.
- Develop key partnerships within and outside the Publicis Groupe
as necessary to promote business development opportunities.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities that maintain
a high close rate.
- Drive the
execution of sales opportunities that result from RFP’s or other direct client sales leads. This
includes driving the qualification, proposal, presentation and
close stages, working closely with appropriate members of the
MF USA and France teams.
- Work closely with MarketForward Paris on marketing and international
sales opportunities.
- Based on market research and practical experience, identify
areas of product growth and new products that could serve our
existing and target clients needs
REQUIREMENTS:

- A Bachelor's
Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business. Advanced

- A minimum of six years of experience in marketing and direct
selling of technology, communications or business solutions.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/ENGINEER
POSITION OVERVIEW:
MarketForward Inc., a Publicis Groupe Company, seeks an experienced
Software Engineer with a focus on development, maintenance and
support of web-based applications.
Position provides support in the research, development, production,
deployment and testing of software products in line with MarketForward
business and client requirements.
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming
applications and fixes. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating
systems.
Participates in the testing process through test design, review
and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software QA.
Will be required
to rework existing code and/or enhance the design of both new
and existing software architectures and features.
This position
reports directly to the Director of Software Engineering.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs software
research and development to support emerging technologies and
services offered by MarketForward. (This
will include but is not limited to: working with outside software
developers and open source projects to ensure that specified
systems are developed on time and to specification.)
- Develop web-based tools and applications consistent with MarketForward
product offerings, client requests and market needs.
- Assists in research and development of emerging display technologies
and interacts with display technology suppliers.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging new media technologies to ensure
state of the art approaches to meet client needs.
- Communication: communicates changes to team members in a timely
manner; confidently asks questions to clarify competencies and
to move project forward.
- Problem solving/troubleshooting: Anticipates and identifies
potential opportunities and obstacles; thoroughly investigates

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2-4 years hands on experience with developing n-tier client/server,
web service, and application software using MS Visual Studio
(C#) and SQL.
- Familiarity with client /server software design, remotely executing

- Experience with video streaming and rich media.
- Strong knowledge of object oriented design, design patterns,
multithreaded applications
- Data structure knowledge including searching, sorting and memory
management
- In depth knowledge of C#, Javascript, XML, HTML, ASP.NET,

- Knowledge of Java, WebObjects, AJAX, and Macromedia Flash (ActionScript)
is a plus
