Until 1999, the United States Postal Service distributed Multimedia Advertising Kits quarterly, in a binder format, to its advertising field staff. It was obvious that the field staff needed a new method of gaining access to the latest corporate-approved creative content.

That's why the USPS implemented the BrandGuard solution. BrandGuard allows users to efficiently create customized marketing materials, such as postcards, posters and window decals, while maintaining the integrity of the USPS brand. For example, during the 1999 Holiday promotional period, USPS field staff customized, ordered, printed and delivered direct mail postcards to over 20 million U.S. households in less than four weeks.
