the Static Age to the Digital World
In 2000, Eddie Bauer ® decided to sample the
world of digital signage. To facilitate this experiment, they called
upon the talents of the Siren Motion Studio.
Because
Eddie Bauer’s content had never been applied to a medium other
than paper, the studio was challenged to develop living, breathing,
digital content using existing, static imagery. Our studio worked
closely with Eddie Bauer’s marketing team, using Web-based
collaboration tools to review content online as the project progressed.
The resulting content successfully maintained Eddie Bauer’s
established look and feel and received positive reviews. Michael
Boyd, Director of Eddie Bauer’s Creative Resources Management,
stated, “the marketing executives have never been as excited
about any content built outside EB walls as they are about Siren’s.”
